why travel your tree?

Heritage Travel Obsessed

In 2005, I was planning a 50th birthday bucket list trip for my husband. He wanted to explore his grandfather’s footsteps in World War I. Once I had completed the research and presented it to him, we discovered he had family roots nearby. Hot on the trail of his family genealogy, we were soon reconnecting with relatives in Germany and other countries, forming lasting friendships.  My addiction to heritage travel was born and I have since pursued formal genealogical & travel training, but most importantly, made personal connections with relatives for family and clients in ancestral villages around Europe.
